Due to the retirement of our Centre Manager, Heather Barton, we are now recruiting for a new Centre Manager.
This is an outstanding opportunity to live and work on the glorious Mornington Peninsula.

Sorrento Community Centre Inc. (the Centre) was established in 1989 and is one of 13 Neighbourhood Houses on the Mornington Peninsula. The Centre includes an Early Learning Centre and is located within the Sorrento Village, which provides ease of access for members of the local and surrounding communities.
The Centre is governed by a community-based Board of Governance (the Board). Board members volunteer to be responsible and accountable for the effective management of the Centre.
Sorrento Community Centre aims to provide a range of opportunities, activities and programs developed in response to local and surrounding community needs. The Centre Manager is delegated responsibility to manage day-to-day operations of the Centre and to develop and implement program development and policies.
About the Role
As the Manager of this vibrant Community Centre, you are responsible to the Board for the operation, management, financial accountability and growth and development of the Centre and for ensuring that the Centre operates in accordance with all legislative requirements, the Board’s policy decisions and the service agreements with funding bodies.
This fulfilling full time role is your opportunity to continue to develop community programs which enrich the local community, support community cohesiveness and engagement and activity for all.
