Some programs are available online (during COVID), while all programs will be back up and running in Term 4 (beyond Victorian Lockdown period)

Art Therapy For Adults

Art Therapy is a way of communicating, in a non-verbal way, your thoughts and feelings that may be too difficult to express in words. Sessions allow you time for reflection. Fully qualified and experienced Art Therapist Susie Parry leads this group where there is no 'right' or 'wrong'.

Thursdays: 10am-12pm

Cost: $55 per session  (+$15 Annual Membership Fee)

Best Foot Forward

Join Kathy for a gentle armchair workout, keep those muscles in tone, and enjoy meeting others at the same time.

Health, Happiness and Healing

This new personalised holistic program will be led by a qualified Physiotherapist who has particular expertise in healthy ageing.  Each participant undertakes a 1:1 assessment, from which an individualised program is designed. A weekly program is offered where participants undertake their prescribed exercises under supervision. They also learn more about healthy eating to suit their needs and swap recipes, connect with others, and are encouraged to also attend to their mental and psychological health. This program form the cornerstone of a ‘Health and Wellness’ circle where people encourage each other, and can access other related Centre programs that are on offer daily.

Join the group that walks, talks and savours the best of our local walking tracks.

Monday mornings weekly.

10am start from the Centre.

Happy Healthy Half Hour

A free seminar presented by Physiotherapist Natalie about how to live a healthier lifestyle, and the best path to a happier, healthier you.

Learn more about our 'Health and Wellness Circle', a holistic approach to your overall health and wellbeing, particularly relevant post this COVID-19 period.

Live Longer, Live Stronger

For improved health and quality of life, 'Live Longer, Live Stronger' is an exercise program for those over 50. It's endorsed by the Council on the Ageing (COTA).

Build your core strength and keep fit and active under the experienced and watchful eye of Cameron Williams (Ocean Fitness) who brings his wealth of experience to the group.

Wednesdays weekly. 

9.30am-10.30am

Pickleball

A cross between tennis, badminton and table tennis. It's lots of fun and high energy to get your heart pumping.

Mondays weekly.

Local, fully qualified and experienced. Psychologist is available for you on Thursdays or Fridays by appointment.

This group is fast-paced to build your fitness level but there's still enough time to meet others and make new friends.

Wednesday Walkers

Shake It Up Dance Group

Eileen leads this popular dance class, with exercises to music to improve your fitness.  Enjoy dancing to the music while having fun! 

Thursdays weekly

10am-11am

Cost: $10 per session (+$15 Annual Registration Levy).

Proceeds from this class support local disadvantaged children.

Stadium Walkers

Feel like a walk - but don't feel up to going out in the cold? Prefer to walk at your own pace?

Or perhaps you want to build your fitness, but would be more confident to walk on a flat, even surface.

Be out of the weather, while still keeping up a level of fitness.

Come to the Centre and join this participant-led group that walks around our Stadium (Bring your own headphones if you wish)

Tai Chi With Coral

Coral leads this warm and friendly group. Tai Chi helps to achieve health and harmony in mind and body, mobility, suppleness and mental alertness.

Yoga With Jo

Yoga helps to increase flexibility and maintain a balanced metabolism. Join a class and discover why yoga has been practised for centuries.

Jo leads this popular group at the beautiful premises of Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron.
