Art Therapy with Susie
Art Therapy is a way of communicating, in a non-verbal way, your thoughts and feelings that may be too difficult to express in words. Sessions allow you time for reflection. Fully qualified and experienced Art Therapist Susie Parry leads this group where there is no 'right' or 'wrong'.
Deferred to Term 2. (Will be Fridays - 10am-12noon)

Health, Happiness and Healing
Set aside 8 weeks (from 21st April) to devote to yourself, to learn more about how you can achieve optimum health, happiness and fitness goals!
This new personalised holistic program will be led by a qualified Physiotherapist who has particular expertise in healthy ageing; it is aimed at attending to your mental, physical, psychological and emotional health.
To start off, and to ensure your program will meet your needs, you will undergo a one-hour 1:1 assessment with Dr Natalie de Morton, a highly qualified and experienced Physiotherapist. She will then design an individualised program where you will be able to track your progress.
Based on your individualised program, participate in a 1/2 hour program each week under supervision, followed by morning tea and a chance to hear an impressive line up of health-related speakers, learning about healthy eating, swap recipes, while connecting with others who will cheer you on. At the end of the program, you will be able to measure your progress and perhaps choose your own next steps.
This program, supported through a grant from the Mornington Peninsula Shire, forms the cornerstone of a ‘Health and Wellness’ circle where people encourage each other, and can access other related Centre programs that are on offer daily.

For improved health and quality of life, 'Live Longer, Live Stronger' is an exercise program for those over 50. It's endorsed by the Council on the Ageing (COTA).
Build your core strength and keep fit and active under the experienced and watchful eye of Cameron Williams (Ocean Fitness) who brings his wealth of experience to the group.
Cost: $12 per session (+$15 Annual Registration Levy)
All the rage in some Australia communities, and the only offering on the Mornington Peninsula, it's a great workout and a step up from walking in building your fitness. Played in our Stadium, using a bat and a 'holey' ball, it is suitable for all ages, and a cross between tennis, badminton and table tennis. It's lots of fun and high energy to get your heart pumping.

Shake It Up with Eileen
Eileen leads this popular dance class, with exercises to music to improve your fitness. Enjoy dancing to the music while having fun!
Cost: $10 per session (+$15 Annual Registration Levy).
Proceeds from this class support local disadvantaged children.
Feel like a walk - but don't feel up to going out in the cold? Prefer to walk at your own pace?
Or perhaps you want to build your fitness, but would be more confident to walk on a flat, even surface.
Be out of the weather, while still keeping up a level of fitness.
Come to the Centre and walk around our Stadium at your pace (Bring your own headphones if you wish) - and help yourself to a cuppa and a chat with others afterwards

Coral leads this popular warm and friendly group. Tai Chi helps to achieve health and harmony in mind and body, mobility, suppleness and mental alertness.
