Chair Yoga with Maggie
A gentle and safe practice for people wanting to enjoy the benefits of yoga but may (or may not) have mobility limitations. Great for those who need more support, manage an injury, have trouble standing and balancing, or getting up and down off the floor.
Enjoy improved muscle tone, better breathing, less stress, better sleep and an overall improved sense of wellbeing.

8 Days to a Happier, Healthier You
As Winter draws us in - and with the revolving lockdowns - it's easy to put your health needs on the back-burner.
This course will help you to confidently undertake an 8-week Course (one group for men, and one group for women)- that
- is designed to meet your health goals,
- helps you to 'keep you honest' with your exercise/healthy eating program,
- enables you to meet others and
- learn and enjoy a talk by other health-related professionals while having refreshments.
Commencing Wednesday 28th July (Term 3)
Choose your preferred time - Group 1 at 11.45am or Group 2 at 12.45pm
We are now accepting bookings for this 'proven' program that will change your health outcomes.
About Your Facilitator: Dr Natalie de Morton, our highly qualified and experienced Physiotherapist, has more than 20 years of extensive clinical experience across hospital and community settings in Australia and overseas. She completed her Research Honours thesis on measuring lower limb muscle strength and later went on to complete her PhD in 2007 at Monash University on measuring mobility and the effects of exercise on older people. As clinical head at the Peter McCallum Cancer Centre she designed exercise programs for people with cancer and survivors and her interest and specific expertise is in helping people to beat the ageing process.
Personalised Program: Starting with a one-hour 1:1 health assessment with Natalie, she will then design an individualised program for you, to address your health needs and help you achieve your goals. This may be around healthy eating, exercise and mental fitness.
Measure your Progress: Using your individualised program you will be able to track your progress, week by week.
Weekly 1-hour program: You will participate in a 1/2 hour exercise program each week, following your plan, and under Natalie's supervision.
The weekly program includes a refreshment break - and a chance to hear and learn from an impressive line-up of speakers on difference health aspects.
Doing it Together - a Key Success Factor: With a maximum of 8 people in the group, you will be there for each other - to 'cheer each other along'. We find that the group jells well together, and natural friendships can form. Last term, the group decided to continue their weekly exercise program together, as a self-led group.
Measure your Achievements: At the end of the program, you will again meet with Nat 1:1 to review your progress - and perhaps choose your own next steps.

Live Longer, Live Stronger
For improved health and quality of life, 'Live Longer, Live Stronger' is an exercise program for those over 50. It's endorsed by the Council on the Ageing (COTA).
Build your core strength and keep fit and active under the experienced and watchful eye of Cameron Williams (Ocean Fitness) who brings his wealth of experience to the group.
Cost: $12 per session (+$15 Annual Registration Levy)
All the rage in some Australia communities, and the only offering on the Mornington Peninsula, it's a great workout and a step up from walking in building your fitness. Played in our Stadium, using a bat and a 'holey' ball, it is suitable for all ages, and a cross between tennis, badminton and table tennis. It's lots of fun and high energy to get your heart pumping.

Shake It Up with Eileen
Eileen leads this popular dance class, with exercises to music to improve your fitness. Enjoy dancing to the music while having fun!

Proceeds from this class support local disadvantaged children.
10,000 Steppers Challenge
Join the group that walks at a pace to suit each individual and keeps off those winter kilos at the same time.
Choose between indoors or outdoors.
Choose between flat surface or up and down/undulating.
Be encouraged and supported by others to keep up your resolve to aim for that 10,000 steps each day.

Tai Chi With Coral
Coral leads this popular warm and friendly group. Tai Chi helps to achieve health and harmony in mind and body, mobility, suppleness and mental alertness.
